Fine Arts and Design courses provide high school students with creative, hands-on opportunities to explore artistic expression, innovation, and design thinking through adaptive, technology-infused learning experiences. Students develop technical and creative skills in visual arts, fashion design and manufacturing, and 3D design while engaging in mastery-based, project-driven instruction. Courses emphasize creativity, critical thinking, problem solving, and real-world applications using industry-relevant tools, digital platforms, and fabrication technologies. Through skill-based learning, students create original works, develop portfolios, and explore design processes from concept to production. These electives encourage collaboration, self-expression, and career readiness while preparing students for future studies and creative industries.

In this Introduction to Fashion Design course, students will leave with a foundation in design thinking, garment construction, fashion history, textiles, and creative expression — not mastery. The goal is exposure, confidence, and hands-on creativity.
